Gas Tanks Transport Griro – Racari July 2010
Some of the most impressive oversized loaders, which have transited through Romania's capital in July 2010 and attracted the attention of mass media and population, have benefited from our logistics company, PACO IMPEX. We talk about the transport of four tanks each 1000 cubic meters of gas each, manufactured in the heart of the capital, which they crossed to reach Racari Bucharest, destination located at about 25 km on the road to Targoviste.
Individual dimensions of transport were: Length 56.50m, width 7.50m, 10.20m height and a total weight of 351.6 to distributed on 28 axels of the transportation. The route was established together with the Romanian Police and the Bucharest City Hall and pre-transport preparations took longer than two months. Because of overall size, moving convoy was imposed only at night, between 23.00 and 05.00. Shipments have crossed five nights in Bucharest Having a great height before and during transport was required disconnecting network cables and redirecting internet, telephone and cable tv. The challenge of this transport consisted of the collaboration and coordination of a large number of companies (over 30), providing services (cable TV and internet, Electrica, RATB, ADP, etc.) involved in carrying out such operations.
Our satisfaction consisted in the success of the operation of linking all companies involved in this project.
Thanks to this fact, the reality corresponded with the plan "on paper estimated" so in the progress of this transport it was no interruption. Mastodons route was: Griviţei Way - Ion Mihalache Blvd - Aviator Popişteanu Street - Exposition Boulevard - Montreal Square – Kiseleff Road - Arch of Triumph Square - C-tin Prezan Boulevard- Charles de Gaulle Square - Avenue Aviators - Mircea Eliade Boulevard - Floreasca Avenue- Pipera Road- Caramfil Nicholae Avenue - Terminal Avenue - Ion Ionescu de la Brad Road - Ionescu Siseşti Road – Bucurestii Noi Boulevard - Laminorului Avenue – CHITILA Road - D.N. 7 .- Racari.
